MOTIVATION

EURODEMO+ looks to address the need for sustainable and cost-effective soil and groundwater remediation technologies which are increasingly demanded across Europe in order to meet upcoming challenges such as tackling climate change and decreasing our energy use in times of increasing energy costs. Technology innovation faces market barriers and needs support for increased and sound implementation in practice. Therefore, EURODEMO+ will provide a European information platform for credible knowledge and technology transfer and support technology transfer for use within Europe and to the global market in order to increase the demonstration and implementation of sustainable and cost-effective remediation technologies across Europe. With this approach, EURODEMO+ will not only add to national remediation practices, but also to the European efforts for strengthening European Environmental Technologies, applied by European designers and contractors.
